日本国内の諸教会と諸団体のご支援とご協力により、聖書を頒布・普及して教会に奉仕し、伝道に貢献することを目的とした公益法人です。運営は自立自給で、聖書協会世界連盟（UBS）の一員として、140余の国々の聖書協会と同一組織、同一理念、同一使命をもって相互に協力し合いながら、聖書翻訳、出版、頒布を主な活動として全世界の聖書普及に努めています。
当刊行会は1970年に第一版が出版され、現在に至るまでに三回の改訂を経た「聖書 新改訳」の翻訳改訂作業を担っている団体です。2017年10月には最新かつ初の大改訂となる「聖書 新改訳2017」が刊行されました。当サイトは、この聖書についての情報や翻訳の経過、またイベント等の情報を皆様にお知らせし、お祈りとご支援を頂くために開設されたものです。
「聖書チャンネルBRIDGE」は、全国で放送伝道の働きを進めておられる、放送伝道協力会を通して、これまで放送されてきた「世の光」「ライフ・ライン」等のコンテンツをご紹介しています。 その他にも諸教会、諸団体のご協力を賜り、どなたにも安心してご視聴いただけるコンテンツを集め、提供して参ります。
